Tax preparation

Accurate work.
Clear answers.
No runaround.

Professional tax preparation for individuals, families, self-employed taxpayers, and clients who need help getting prior filings back on track.

Who we serve

Tax support built around the real return—not a one-size-fits-all counter.

Every engagement begins with a secure intake and a review of your complete records. We identify what applies, what is missing, and what needs clarification before the return is finalized.

Individual and family returns

Preparation for wage earners, retirees, college students, families, and taxpayers with common credits and deductions. We explain the result in plain language and review the filing with you before authorization.

Self-employed and Schedule C returns

For independent contractors, freelancers, gig workers, 1099 earners, and single-member LLC owners with organized business records. If bookkeeping or reconstruction is required, that work is scoped and priced separately.

Prior-year and amended returns

Behind on filing or discovered something after filing? We review available records and prior returns to determine the correct next step. Amended-return work begins only after the original filing and supporting information are reviewed.

  • W-2 and retirement income
  • Dependents and family credits
  • 1099 and contract income
  • Schedule C businesses
  • Prior-year filings
  • Amended returns
  • Extensions and follow-up filing
  • Federal and applicable state returns

Current, accountable, and in your corner

Our tax preparer, Tierlyn Flores, holds a 2027 IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP) Record of Completion. Here's what that means for you:

  • She completed this year's IRS-approved continuing education, including federal tax law updates and ethics.
  • She is listed in the IRS Directory of Federal Tax Return Preparers with Credentials and Select Qualifications.
  • For returns she prepares and signs, she can represent clients in initial IRS audits, customer service matters, and before the Taxpayer Advocate Service.

The Annual Filing Season Program is a voluntary IRS continuing education program for tax return preparers.

Pay with your refund

Get your refund your way

Don't want to pay your tax prep fee up front? With a Refund Transfer from Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (sbtpg), your fees are paid from your federal refund, so there's nothing out of pocket today. You don't need good credit. The rest of your refund is direct deposited to your bank account.

Refund Transfer cost

$79.94 ($44.95 sbtpg fee + $34.99 software transmitter fee), plus $14.95 for each additional refund (such as a state refund)

Want it faster?

Eligible clients can add Fast Forward by sbtpg for $25 and get their federal refund up to 5 days early.

Refund Transfers are deposit products using Green Dot Bank, Member FDIC, that enable certain deductions from the account to be processed. Refund Transfers are not loans. Tax refund and e-filing are required in order to receive Refund Transfer. Fees apply. Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice. Ask your preparer about other IRS e-file options, some of which are provided at no additional cost.

Fast Forward by sbtpg is provided by Green Dot Bank. Terms and fees apply. To be eligible for Fast Forward, the taxpayer must have a Refund Transfer for a federal tax refund that is no more than $10,000. Availability may vary based on the taxpayer's bank participating in Real-Time Payments, IRS pre-notification of pending refund deposit, and availability of funds. $25.00 fee is not charged if the taxpayer is ineligible. Check with transmitter for availability.

Corpus Christi & the Coastal Bend

Self-employed tax preparation that starts with the whole business picture.

Schedule C filers rarely have “just a tax return.” Income may arrive through 1099s, card processors, cash apps, checks, and direct deposits, while expenses live across bank accounts, credit cards, mileage records, receipts, and bookkeeping software. We help organize that picture before treating any number as final.

Our secure virtual process is built for independent contractors, gig workers, service providers, and single-member LLC owners in Corpus Christi, the Coastal Bend, and throughout Texas. You receive a clear records request, follow-up questions that make sense, and an explanation of the completed return before filing.

When the books and the return need to agree

If your QuickBooks file is incomplete, unreconciled, or different from the records used for tax preparation, we identify the bookkeeping work separately. That keeps cleanup transparent and helps ensure the financial records and tax return tell the same story.
